The Geometry students began a unit on triangles this week. They began by working in groups to make a concept map about triangles.





The students then presented their concept maps to the class for discussion.




Using a ruler and protractor the students measured 9 different triangles and completed a table with the side lengths and angle measures of those triangles. They used this table to answer questions about the classification of the triangles.





Students walked away from this lesson being able to accurately classify a triangle by its angles and sides.
